NSV- I joined a Volleyball team!!
I would never have thought, a year ago, 115lbs ago, I would be getting my a$$ on a volleyball court and running around in shorts (p.s. i hadnt worn shorts in about 8 years before my VSG).
It feels so good to move my body, I can finally participate in fun things like this!
Can't wait til January when it starts, perfect timing for me to heal from my plastics. I'm curious to see how I keep up with my girlfriends who do Crossfit.
Oh, and we have a cute name for our team..Floorplay.
Its reasons like these I got my VSG, to be able to PARTICIPATE instead of being on the sidelines, watching all the others have fun. No more!!!

I am with Frisco, I was a badminton person as well. But Basketball was my favorite. I still act like a fool pre op with the kids in my neighborhood and shoot some hoops with them, next summer I will be able to run and chase after them for the ball like the good old days lol.
Shh, dont tell but honestly, I feel like 100% better. Thats why im trying to stay in (and on OH all the time) because I feel so good I dont want to over do it. Because I feel so good.
Being able to run around again kicks ass! Your kids are gonna flip!
But yes next summer I should be able to kick their asses at it, except for one girl she is damn good and only around 13
I can't believe how well you are doing with the tummy tuck, all I can think about is my past c-sections and how painful they were. I took about 6-8 months to fully heal from them but of course we just can't lay around and do nothing when we have babies to look after.
That’s pretty cool and sounds like fun. I would love to find a good group activity, but I still have a bad knee, so jumping and running is still out of the question for me. Lifting weights, walking and swimming will have to do for now to burn all this excess energy. I wish I can burn more calories playing poker.haha
