Underwear, skinny legs, and hanging bellies (need help)

I touched on this on my blog post (click my name) but I figured I'd start a conversation...

I have stick legs and I've lost a LOT in my thighs over the past few weeks. (my upper thighs are actually smaller than my lower thighs near my knees now - it looks so WEIRD. LOL). And my belly is loose and hanging down... what that means is that to get underwear that fit around my middle, my tummy is hanging out of the leg holes for the underwear. I've tried Hanes, Just My Size and Fruit of the Loom.

Anyone know of undies that have small leg holes?

Yes, I realize this sounds funny... go ahead and laugh, but when you have on jeans and undies are giving you some support and then you turn around and sit down and your tummy poof up through the sides, it looks funny - like I have weird side testicles or something. *laughing*

Even now, I'm wearing shapewear and it poofs out. Grrrr... boy shorts don't work - same problem, the leg holes are freaking huge!

I'm wearing size 9 underwear. My husband said to try using bikini and wearing them UNDER my hanging belly, but that means I won't get any support for the hanging stomach.

Sigh. I cannot wait until it's gone and I go get the flap lopped off already.

I have had the same problem forever. I did find a soft girdle thing several years ago but I have out grown it. It was in Kmart then (that was 2003).  I am interested in suggestions from people here though. Good question....

LOL, I wish I had this problem! I am the complete opposite with huge legs! I am a pear shape. I can't wait for my legs to shrink! I know they will never look like Beyonce legs though!

I identify with your problem.  I have the fat girdle also.  I thought when I lost weight it would shrink considerably but that has not been the case.  Yes it is smaller but when I was at my current weight many years ago I didn't have such a big apron.  I find that the long leg body shaper helps flatten it some.  It only helps though when you are wearing a dress.  I haven't found anything to hold it up in a body shaper.  I have the smae problem where it hangs out the leg holes.  I found a long leg body shaper made by Bali that goes from under my bra to my knees.  It helps support and flatten those bulges and makes me look slimmer when I am wearing a dress.  However, when it flattens the fat apron you still have a blug just not as big.  Worth giving it a try.

Spanx has worked for me!  They have support style panties that fit that area great and I've never gotten overflow!  www.spanx.com/family/index.jsp

Have you tried the microfiber panties? I think they fit better than the cotton ones I always used to get. You could also try some control top panty hose to help with support. The Leggs Sheer Comfort have a more comfortable waistband. I think they are more comfortable than some of the spanx type under garments that I've tried.

Take a look at Dr. Rey foundations and shapewear.  He has a website with them on it and I think Kmart online has Dr Rey foundations.
