Celebrex?
as sson as i could swallow them, 2 days after. My doctor said that they are different from NSAIDS so it was okay to restart
when felt able. It works better for my back and knees that Lortab did so I stopped the pain meds and just took my celebrex.
now I am almost 10 weeks out and no stomach upset and feeling great. Hoping to reduce the dose by half soon.

Celebrex is an NSAID, along with Naproxin, Mobic, and others. I'm curious why your doctor said it was different from the others? I also need NSAIDs and would love to find one that's less irritating to my stomach.
I just saw my doctor today (5 weeks post-op) and asked him about restarting my daily Naproxin (an NSAID). He would prefer I don't, but since I need it in order to go back to my regular daily activities, he okayed it, but only at a much lower dose than I was taking (in other words, at over-the-counter doses, not the prescription dosage I was taking). I asked him if Celebrex was easier on my stomach than the others, and he said no, they're all about the same. Of course, this is just one doctor's opinion.
