Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all in Canada!!
I still have a good size turkey in my freezer, wondering when I am going to cook it up, but I will puree lots of it and then freeze sections of it for a later date. Nothing that me and my children can put away.
I am going to have turkey this weekend and I will probably have a nibble of the dressing. I have to figure out a way to make it without potatoes. I think if I put in an extra egg and use lavash bread or something I should be able to make a good tastey one when I do make my turkey up.

Same to you!! This is my last Thanksgiving before my surgery, so I intend to enjoy it. However we are switching it up this year and going with a rotisserie chicken instead of turkey, and having more green veggies, and skipping the mashed potatoes.Will have the traditional feast at Christmas time. Then two weeks after that is surgery!! EEEKKK!!

Happy Thanksgivng to all! This is my last Thanksgiving before surgery and I made many of my favorites for tomorrow. We are having Turkey, Ham, Sweet and Sour meatballs, mashed potates, perogies, nalysnyka, broccoli salad, coleslaw, homemade cranberry saucy, homemade buns, fresh garden carrots with dill, honey and butter (still have to dig them up tomorrow! lol) and pumpkin and strawberry-rubarb pie. AND I WOULD GIVE IT ALL UP IN A HEARTBEAT FOR A SLEEVE ...TOMORROW INSTEAD OF THE SPRING!!! LOL

Well I think it is good before Halloween, before the snow falls and the roads get icy. The cops are out all over the highways, cruise control immediately when I head home. Sometimes ya just get cruising with the rest of the traffic, ya see a cop car, look down and OOOPS but I was pretty good so a slow drive here but it was all good. My children are being bad bad bad here this weekend but the weather has been like 30 all weekend, SHORTS in the middle of October, gotta love it.
