Amen to da Meats !!!

I had less than 2oz. of Roast Pork last nite.... about 2 bites to many......had the beginnings of the gurgles......I thought 2oz. was gonna be under capacity.......

Veggies are great for snacks. But I still enjoy having some veg with my meat (I'm in maintenance)

Sassy gots it down !!!

Did that tonight... made chipotle/lime/cumin marinated chicken breasts.. measured my 2oz.. left two bites on the plate. Nights I seem to get tighter.. can't always fit 2oz in, sometimes 1.5-1.75.

Ok, I 100% agree, but what do you do for fiber?  I'm generally eating 2oz protein and 1oz fiber with each meal (3 a day).  Most days I feel like I could stop at the 2oz of protein and be done, but I want to get some fiber in too as to avoid sitting in a bathroom all day trying to "go"...

Just have to work within your carb count.....

If the truth be known.... I only ate trace amounts of veg and fruits during WL......

It wasn't till a year out the doc said to start adding fiber into my diet.

Solid protein for dinner is the only thing that keeps me from grazing at night.  I've always been a nighttime snacker and if I eat my 1.5 or 2 oz of solid protein at dinner, I almost never have room for a snack at night.

For fiber, roasted brussel sprouts are an awesome snack!  I spray them with a little olive oil, sprinkle some kosher salt, black pepper and some garlic, and roast them in the oven, and OMG, they are so good, plus they have a ton of fiber, and you can't eat a lot of them before you're full!  And almost no calories, plus good fat from the olive oil...also gets things moving
