Hey guys,
you know i love to share my food findings with you, i know how monotonous protein protein protein can be ..
Trader Joe's have a few things I have tried recently that I can suggest..
They sell a Curry Simmer Sauce that is delicious, flavorful, and has a little bit of heat. Just buy the jar and some chicken breast, throw the cut up breast into the sauce add a little water and simmer for 20 minutes. It is a tasty way to prepare chicken and other meats ( i usually avoid chicken because it is flavorless to me but i can definitely get down with it when its cooked this way). Since there is alot of sauce I kind of eat it as a soup...you could add veggies to the sauce too..
I also tried the steamer clams in broth- in the frozen fish section- really not bad for clams ready in 5 minutes. Easy and flavorful.
And last for those of us who need the occassional treat (and wont eat the whole box. i understand some people cannot keep things like this in the house) Hold the Cone icecream cones in the frozen dessert section are perfect sleeve size. these tiny little icecream cones with chocolate fudge topping must have been created by a sleever. This satisfying treat is only 70 calories and i believe 5g carbs per serving! Sweet!
so here are my food finds for the week.

Also at TJs, they have Tuna in Red Curry or Green curry. They come in these little pouches and are perfect for quick lunches. For me, each pouch is 2 servings. and I looooooooooove them. I miss thai food so much and these are a great replacement.
I also enjoy their chili lime chicken burgers too.
(as an aside, I tried to eat red curry from my fav thai place and I couldn't. It totally made me sick immediately. So...yay sleeve?)
I tried to find the Cioppino you mentioned and wasn't able to find it. I'll have to look again.

The curries are in the shelf stable area. With the asian/indian stuff? They are a hot item so if you like them, stock up. I add a handful of cashews for a little extra crunch.
For the burgers, I grill them up on the George, add a slice of pepper jack and a little low carb bbq sauce. YUM!

We are the proud owners (not really, we're customers) of our very own TJs, since July. Yay!! Thanks for the tips, Sassy. I bought the cioppino based on your recommendation, but haven't tried it yet. The curry simmer & tuna curries sound good, too! I really like beef, and I'm the only one in my house that does. The TJs organic sirloin roast (fully cooked, just heat it up) is GREAT! Medium rare & tender.
