consistently amazed!
Honestly, as someone about to embark on this new lifestyle, I am so amazed and impressed with all the success I read! All of you out there (and I am sure I will be top of the list when it's my turn!) stop beating yourselves up over a stall or what seems to be a slow weight loss. I am looking at the numbers and wow! Some of you have lost enormous amounts in just a few months. Maybe you have forgotten the other side of the fence, yo yo. Lose some, gain more!
I am not knocking anyone at all, just saying congratulate your selves on the weight you have lost. I find it just incredible, really. I have been struggling for so long, with good success, but with it always comes the failure. You are all moving in the right direction and I am so thrilled to be joining all of you soon.

Thanks for that view from the "other side." LOL! Yeah I know what you mean. Sometimes when the scale is not moving for a few days I start getting down then I have to step back and think, "When have I ever in my life lost 45 lbs. in 2 months with a very good probability of keeping it off?" So yeah. It's pretty amazing. I may not be losing it the fastest but I am very happy to be losing it!!
Cool post!
Some lose fast, others slow.. some do in fits and starts (me!).. but the reality of it for me at least, it's the first time I have been able to do this and feel like it's a sustainable change. There's been no white-knuckling, no swings from binging (or even wanting to) to restricting.. it feels like someone flipped a switch from MO appetite to NORMAL appetite. It's a head-trip, trust me on that. Good luck on your journey, it's the rest of your life ahead of you!

Thanks for that, I just can't wait to be losing with all of you. I don't kow why I was not fearful of a thing when I got my band, never even worried about being put to sleep. Somehow, this time I am scared, I guess I just feel a lot less healthy than a few years back. Still going forward and you all help and inspire me on my jouney to surgery and success!
Thanks for your post. It is a good reminder. Speaking of that Yo-yo. I lost 75#s a few years back with diet and exercise and I gained back about 30 of them. So now I am back down to that weight I was few years back in just a couple of months (including presurgery). I have never gotten rid of most of the clothes from my highest weight, but I am starting to now. I know it is up to me to make this permanent, but this is the first time I feel like I am not going back there and it is ok to let go of those clothes. It feels so exciting to be able to say that.
