I'm more in maintainence now..I think.. Still losing but not as fast and I don't feel I need to lose more than another few pounds if that..

Anyhoo, those who are maintaining your weight what are your calories, carbs, fats, etc for the day..do you still watch carbs?

I started tracking my food again today to see where I was at now that I have added in more foods. I am still losing even though I have upped my calories and carbs..

thanks!!

It's trial and error to get the right amount. First I started by going up to 1100-1200 calories, and increased my carbs to 70-80. I still lost a few pounds though. I didn't want to lose anymore because I think I'd look sickly if I did. So now I'm staying around 1500 calories and 100-120 carbs. I've been in the 134-136 range since early June. I've found it very easy to maintain (thank God)! Depending on the food, I can eat about 6 oz total at a meal. Meats I can only eat 3 or 3.5 oz at a time. A few times per week I have 1/2 a sandwich with a multi grain roll or a bagel thin. Mostly I've added fresh fruit though. I never was big on veggies, but do eat more than I ever had in the past. I still try to get at least 80 protein.

I am almost three years out... in the beginning of maintenance I did no****ch anything ate anything and everything I wanted that began at about the 10 month mark I had reached my goal I continued to lose slowly up until about 14 months now at about the three year mark I still pretty much eat ehat I want in reason I do try and count calories now and watch the carbs I find myself every couple of wekks going back to stricylt protein and shakes for a couple days - I weigh myself everyday and have tried to kick it in the butt if I go up more than two pounds and well today I am up three so tomorrow I sttart the three day diet of strict protein and shakes. It still remains fairly eay to maintain but you do have to work it.

I try and keep my calories to about 1200

Best wishes to you
Cheers

I don't really track my food on a daily basis. I do weigh my self everyday and make adjustments to my intake when necessary.

I eat about 1200 - 1500 cals a day. I don't count carbs but I limit it as much as possible. As carbs trigger my cravings.

It's a trail and error thing as others have stated. Within the last month I started loosing more weight so I started to compensate by adding more calories.

I am eating anywhere from 1600 - 3000 calories a day.  The high end is rare, but I have had some days at that end of the spectrum.  I still track religiously and am eating about 50% carbs, 25% protein, 25% fats.   I am training for a marathon, and am actually a bit low on my weight as I continue to lose after I hit goal.  I actually feel (and look) too scrawny which I never thought I would say.
