revision question .......

hi, i am working on getting a revision from band to sleeve... quick question...... i have major heartburn and i guess acid reflux, i am on meds. but if i got rid of my band, and got the sleeve....... would i still have this ?????

Sometimes it goes and sometimes it starts after surgery.  Have you been checked for a hiatal hernia?  I have bad acid reflux also and found out yesterday that I have a pretty significant one.

oops  i forgot to mention, i do have a hernia.....lol... would that be the problem

 My reflux was caused by my band, the minute it was out my reflux was gone. I am having some slight heartburn since my revision, but it is easily controled and nothing like the reflux my band caused!
