Getting back/Staying on Track

I believe this will be week two without any weight loss.  I normally weigh myself at the doc's on Tuesday's.  Haven't done it yet, but I can usually tell when I have lost and don't belive I have.

Last week, I let it get to me pretty badly that I hadn't lost weight.  Last Tuesday I ate 1100 calories in one day.  I didn't actually eat junk food, but I certainly over ate.  It was hard to admit to myself that old habits would creep back in...

I am happy to say that since then I have prayed and gotten great motivation from others as well as myself and I am doing much better.

I am going to bump up my exercise with Jillian Michaels (beast trainer that she is ), possibly some zumba.  i had always been between 70-80 protein, but now I am going to try and make sure it is as close to 100 as I can get it.  I have been meticulous about my calories staying between 600-800.  I am actually quite excited about it.  Finally, I carry so much water with me, I feel like Adam Sandler!!!

Having a misstep is never fun, but when you pull yourself back up, you feel all the stronger!!!!

 Hi Hon,

Thanks so much for sharing.  It helps us all to know none of us are perfect - even with our new tummies, we need to watch our step.  It sounds like you're getting back on track.    Blessings to you and good luck!

Also, watch your carbs. Eating carbs will cause you to crave more carbs and most carbs are slider foods. You can eat a lot of carbs before you feel restriction.

Along with the other goals you outlined I would suggest limiting carbs to less than 40 grams per day for optimal weight loss.

Good luck,
George
