Cholesterol lowering diet? Any suggestions?
Increase your Omega 3 fatty acid and increase your exercise. Those 2 things alone will lower your LDL and raise your HDL. My labs looked like yours and I started taking fish oil and upped my exercise. You can also eat salmon and tuna. Worked like a charm.
As for the iron...what form of iron are you taking. I found that I did way better with the carbonyl iron (sold in drugstores under the name Feosol).

I will def add some omega 3's but it will have to come in the form of a pill. Unfortunately I cannot eat fi**** gags me!! I've never been big on it to begin with and honestly tried several times after surgery but I cannot make it go down.
I take Vitalady's Tender Iron (Elemental Carbonyl) with Vitamin C for absorption. I have been slacking on taking them religously. This was my wake up call and I am going to get back on track!!
I am going to start back on exercising. I've slacked on this as well, especially the last couple of months. We have been 100*+ for over a month now and it has just been too dang hot to get outside. However, I am going to start walking even if it is only a mile every other night.
Thank you for the info!! I really do appreciate it!
