Protein for Lactose Intolerant Peeps?

I also use the Body Fortress shakes when I have them, but I mix them with water, not milk. I am also lactose intolerant and just don't care for milk in drinks like that. The little bit of milk I do use is Lactaid or else I'd have to take Lactaid pills with regular milk.

all this time I thought I was lactouse, but coudln't understand why I could eat some stuff. I didnt have the usually symptoms of stomach bubbling and diarrhea (TMI). I would get horrible abdominal pain , and projectile vomiting. I realized that I was allergic to the whey protein. or the milk protein. So I tried soy protein and it works for me. Maybe you can try that. Optinum Nutrition has one 25 grams a scoop....

Maybe you've already tried them.....but, I am also lactose intolerant (not extremely severe though) and the Premier Proteins don't bother me a bit.  Also, the I *think* some of the Nectar powders are lactose free.
