You will not be disappointed with the sleeve.  As I was reading the replies, I saw your reply about the DS.  The beauty of the sleeve is that you can revert to the DS if you need to.  But, I am here to tell you that I was a heavy weight...my BMI was higher than yours and now I am in the low 30's.  I never considered any of the malabsorption procedures because I didn't want to have to be chained to the issues that go along with that.  I am very happy to say that I have done fantastic with the sleeve and would do it all over again in a heartbeat...and I do not need the DS at all.  My guess is that you won't need it either.  Best of luck to you in your journey.

Hi Sharon -- it means so much to hear and SEE the success you're having, especially starting out at a high BMI and weight.  It gives me such hope.  I know these procedures aren't  magic bullets and are only "tools" that we have to learn how to utilize.  I hope I have the kind of success you've been having.  You look AMAZING, and I can only imagine how great your joints and the rest of your body feels.  I have such a difficult time with my mobility.  Knees, back, hips, feet -- I have trouble with them all.  I'd like to be able to walk further than half a block without needing to sit down and catch my breath.  I wish you so much success in your journey, too.  It will be so awesome to hear of the other "WOW" moments you have along the way

Be safe and well, B.B.
