"You're only obese now"

 LOL, that made me laugh when my surgeon said it.  Never thought obese would be used in that context, snort!  Anyway, had a follow up visit yesterday and everything is good, almost 3 months out now.  I am doing as well as I could have hoped for.  Thank you everyone for your continued support!  Can't wait to be "overweight" woot!

hey!  i just reached that point myself (have lost about the same as you have, but in twice the time!) and i totally posted!  it's definitely a fabby milestone!!!!  congrats!  overweight is coming!!!!!

Thank you!  My weight seems to be coming off at a good rate.  I am more than thrilled with it.  I have had such a hard time losing when I dieted/exercised in the past, that I was truly expecting things to go much slower than they have.  I guess that is one of the reasons that I am not worried if I do hit a stall - because I have NEVER been able to lose 50 pounds in the last 13-14 years.  Never.  So, I am already a success in my book.  I am not impatient, in fact I wouldn't be terribly upset if I slowed a bit - I have no money for clothes right now, LOL!!  Goodwill, here I come!

 not so much - but I was squeezing into my 20's to begin with LOL.  So they lasted me longer.  I am in 12/14's depending now.  I am very happy to be here!  

 Wait!  I thought that "morbidly obese" started at 40...with a starting BMI of 39 you were nev er there!  I think maybe what should have been said is "you're not obese--you're only overweight now."  Even better, yah??

 it was 39.9 - perhaps that was close enough for his taste.  And trust me, I have been there LOL.  Either way, I am still not in the "overweight" range yet.  But soon!
