March Sleevers - How are you doing?

You can see by my Widgets/Tickers below that my weight loss has been a bit slow (IMO). However, I have been exercising very little. About the only exercise I get is walking to and from the parking deck to my office building twice a day - about a 10 minute walk each way. So, I really need to get up off my fat rear-end and exercise. I don't really have a safe place to walk (we live on a rural road with lots of traffic) and I simply LOATH my treadmill. I am very thankful (and surprised) that I haven't yet experienced any stalls, however. I only lost one pound this week, but I count that as a victory!

I'm getting in all my protein, liquids, and vitamins, eating very few carbohydrates, and keeping my calories between 800-1,000 each day.

Best of luck to all of you in your WL journeys!

My surgery was 3/17, and I've lost 52 pounds since, 62 total. I try to eat balanced meals making suire to get my protein first, but actually eat a treat like a (real, not low sugar/fat) small ice cream or Frappucino maybe once a week. I don't get the low fat no sugar no carb versions of Greek yogurt, cheese, etc. either. I can eat maybe half of a mini whole wheat bagel or half a sandwich thin for bread; most days I don't have them,  it's just not what I want to fill up on. Most days I eat around 1000 c some days a little more, some less.
I do aerobics on my WiiFit  at least 3 and usually 4-5 days a week. At first I struggled to do 30 minutes on the 'easy' level, now I can do 45 to an hour on the harder settings.
I know i'm not losing as fast as some, but I've done super low fat, low carb, etc. and felt so drained; I prefer a more balanced diet as it makes me fel like doing things--all day long!

3/9/11 - Losing lots of weight and feeling great. I eat most anything I want but do make sure to limit to no added carbs. By that I mean I won't eat anything that doesn't benefit me signifigantly wth protein. If it has a few carbs in it, I don't worry about them but I won't eat anything that is primarily a carb. I have, once or twice, had a few bites of cake or something similiar but that has been very very rarely and done in moderation. I exercise as often as I can with 2 miles of walking/running(as my body allows).

Typical day menu for me is
B - egg and 2 pieces of bacon/turkey sausage
MS - 3 slices of lunch meat
L - grilled meat
AS - leftover grilled meat
D - baked meat

In addition to that, to increase my protein, I drink decaf coffee throughout the day with an ounce or two of milk added to each cup. I actually primarily get my fluid from coffee during the week. Many days I far exceed 64 ounces just in coffee.

Things are going great

The ticker hasn't been updated because I haven't wieghed myself in over a week....so probably less by now...

Since surgery, I have lost 35lbs & 48lbs since starting this journey. I work out 6 days a week. 4 days doing dance cardio(UJAM), and 2 days with my personal trainer. I was on a 16 day vacation in Europe and lost 2.5 lbs during that time. My trainers scale says I am in onederland(with all my clothes on), but I am going by my scale and won't celebrate until my scale says so. 2 more lbs to go~! I am happy with my weight loss. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my sleeve. I eat what I want and with how many days I workout, I don't worry about bread or pasta or rice...I just don't eat it that much and very little when I do. I find I am satisfied with this and my head doesn't **** with me like it does when I say "I CAN'T HAVE" to myself. I rarely eat sweets. Never had been my thing and still isn't. As soon as the weather decides it will be spring summer, I will start riding my bike again. I am not a hard core cycler so bad weather turns me off. Here are the measurement changes:
                                     12/1/10    4/7/11       6/3/11
chest                                45in         45in         41.5in
biceps                               14in         13.5in       12.25in
waist                                44.5in       40.5in      38in
hips                                  45in          46in         43.5in
upper thigh                                        20in          18in
I am gonna repost this in my blog so I can keep track of it. Congrats to all my fellow March sleevers. Looks like you are all doing GREAT!! Keep up the good work and thank you for being here. You keep me motivated!

I was sleeved 3/3/11 and as of yesterday I have lost 64 lbs with ten of that pre-op.  I have had no complications and have no bad reactions to anything that I have eaten.  I work out four days a week m-th and take three days off for my body to recoup.  I have gone from a size 24 in jeans to an 18 and from a 3x top to a 1x.  I love the decision that I have made and wouldn't  change a thing! Glad that everyone else is doing just as well. Let's keep rockin' our sleeves!
