I had my band removed on 4/12 and had the sleeve done...no more throwing up for me!!!! The sleeve is the best thing!

Not even once since surgery! My sister had the vertical BANDED gastroplasty 20 years ago, and throws up to this day, almost every day.

5 months out today and I have vomited ONCE, because i forgot and ate/drank at the same time.

Only had heaves the very first week. And that was because the meds I was on for restless legs didn't agree with me post-op. Changed meds and no vomiting. I hear about bandsters throwing up but it seems pretty rare for VSG, and then it seems to be related to something other than having a sleeve.

Not a single time since my surgery. On the 3rd day after my surgery, I do remember thinking, "What have I done to myself??" I had acid reflux, couldn't lie down flat, etc. But after that things kept getting better each day and I am so glad I had a VSG. I love my sleeeve!

I have thrown up about 8 times since surgery...my guess. All from overeating! 4 or so have been within the past 4 weeks! Not cool, I know...but all my fault!
