Stupid girl!! There is nothing easy about what we had done!  Surgery doesn't make me unable to eat carbs - I still have to make good choices, surgery doesn't make me go to the gym -I choose to go. I could go on and on......

Oh I can relate.  I've had a "friend" say this to me...in front of other people.  Well guess what??...I'm 2 1/2 years out and I'm skinny and she's still very heavy.  Living well is the best revenge!!

When does the "easy" part kick in? There isn't a surgery to cure stupidity, maybe that's why she's upset......

I cannot imagine what makes people so damn ignorant when it comes to weight loss surgery. I don't see ANYTHING easy about it! It surely isn't easy taking 4 bites of something that's taken me an hour to prepare and then sitting there and watching other people enjoy as much as they want to eat. It isn't easy to drive down the street past Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell and the Chinese buffet knowing I dare not think about stopping. And it isn't easy to see this loan bill that I will be paying for many years to come that I had to borrow to pay for my surgery. Tell that co-worker you have tried the "real way" far too many times and finally decided to do things the "smart" way!

Look "easy " up in the dictionary ....it says PAINFREE and EFFORTLESS....they have no idea how hard it is !
