Be honest, the sleeve doesn't create surgically induced bullemia - right?

I have never once vomited since getting the sleeve.  I have had the foamies about three or four times and I wished I could vomit but I couldn't do it.  It went away after about two very uncomfortable hours.  The last time that happened was maybe a year ego.  I am almost two years out.  You will be OK.

Wow, did this thread take off!

So, Zee, do you feel better about minimal to no puking with the sleeve now?

Hey, I didn't see your post B4.  And yes, I feel better about the sleeve in every aspect now.  Good looking out for pulling this post.  I was just going to pull it for that Bandster having the same question.

I hope you stay around and continue to create some history.  You've inspired me to document my journey  especially for my Band friends who will fortunately or unfortunately join us.  It is tough,  pretty traumatic at times when you've experienced bad things with the Band.  Sometimes you think that you'll be jinxed no matter what you do because well you thought the band would work and well, here you are.

Leila

I was completely nauseated and dry heaved for two days after surgery.  On day 3 I felt better, but not great.  I only dry heaved once, and it was on the evening of that third day.  After that I felt a lot better.  After I started eating I would experience nausea/vomiting sometimes.  Sometimes what I ate just wouldn't agree with my stomach.  Usually it was inconsistent, scrambled egg one day - fine, scrambled egg another day - puke, etc.  But now, looking back, it's probably been two months or more since I have had nausea from eating anything.

Taking an acid reducer and drinking lots of water can help with nausea.

I will be honest, I am about a month out and I have puked three times this week. I just puked up the food I ate though. I think it was because my sleeve did not like the food I ate or maybe it was too soon to eat that food. It hasn't been that bad though and I know it will get better.

Only two near episodes...  First was less than 24 hours after surgery and the usual nasuea. Second, was from the nausea caused by a chewable calcium tablet.  Since I quit those no problems.
