Oh man, I don't remember all those details. You were traumatized for sure and you did all that you could do to survive.
If you didn't post this on the "failed band forum" then you should. I know it is hard to revisit the pain but now that it is here and done, others should hear your story.

Wow you have been through a lot! I have found that for me, I have to think of those carby foods as drugs and myself as a drug addict. It helps me to stay away from them to always have low carb foods prepared and ready to go so if I am feeling weak I can just eat something that I have with me quickly and get full and not have room for more. Like squelching the hunger with good foods and striking while the iron is hot, so to speak. Hugs..

EXACTLY!!! That's why I eat the same thing for breakfast, lunch, and snacks! I try to make dinner as easy as possible, so that I can get in the kitchen, make it, eat it, and be done with it!

Wow, what a story! You're lucky to be alive! I had a friend who had a band erosion but she wasn't so lucky...it killed her...she went septic and the band had attached itself to a bunch of her organs. Her body that last day was a horrendous sight all swollen...just horrible. I'm glad your back on the wagon.
