Loss of Appetite?

 I am recoverying from an upper respiratory infection. I always lose my appetite when I get sick like this before and after surgery.  I sleep alot and that helps me more than anything. My appetite returns as soon as I start feeling better and then I have to really watch what I eat for a few days or I will overeat and have nausea.  I think what you are going through is quite normal.

I haven't been sick yet (except for my freaky mental sickness) but it makes sense if our overall hunger is decreased from VSG that when our hunger is yet decreased even more by not feeling well....it could go to zip.

I remember the pre-op days when I would be sick and think a Pastrami Sandwich and a bowl of soup is what I needed....

Oh Sassy hope you are feeling better soon. I agree try some chicken soup or broth.
