A little OT and nerdy, What I want for my life!!
I 100% endorse your vision. Follow your passion!
Of course, like with any competitive field you have to do your homework, get the credentials, and work the system. My advice is to pick the very best vet school you can (maybe one the specializes in exotic animals?). Get to know the faculty and work very hard. When they see how smart and passionate you are, doors will open baby! Is there a message board equivalent to this one for people applying to/in vet school??
Clean your head of the nagging naysayer voices. I'm convinced that half the battle of getting into and through heavy duty graduate school is silencing those voices that make you limit yourself before you've tried.
Good luck!! Hollyhock
