Efforts to find him would be much easier if he wasnt 3000 miles away.. I live in NJ and him in Washington State on the west coast.

sorry sassy. I know how you must feel. I feel like dieing when I think of anything happening to my girls. this maybe out of line but if you can't find him how about adopting another rescue in his name?
