:{ unexpected surgery badness..

my same day laparoscpic cyst removal turned into them having to open me up
i essentially have a 5 inch bikini cut- think c section and cutting my abdominal wall
the cyst was supposed to be 4cm...it was larger than my uterus

and then i had to stay over night and got the worst care ever ever
it was terrible
and i hurt
i still have 2 ovaries
but the doctor mentioned that i should have any kids i plan on having before age 33

which is so not in my plan
i feel terrible and hurt 100 times worse than my vsg :*(

and apparently i woke up cursing about the huge incision and demanding my father pay for a tummy tuck...eek

Sorry that surgery didn't go exactly as planned. But I'm glad that you still have 2 ovaries.

and while kids before 33 may have not been your original plan, plans can change. You can think about that later. Focus on recovery and healing. and there's always the option of freezing eggs.

So sorry for the extra trouble and extra long scar. But sounds like a good thing they got that done.

Guess you're gonna have to start thinking about baby making earlier

Aww so sorry you're going through all that. I know exactly what the pain feels like (i had a 16 cm and 6 cm cyst removed from mine). That stinkin scar itched me for years! Hope you feel better soon.
Word to the wise, use a pillow there when in a car. Potholes and bumps hurt like hell after that surgery for a few weeks

Sorry, dear.

Here's hoping things are better soon. Don't worry about the scars or kids right now.... easier said than done, I know. Feel better.

Once I reach goal, this cow will be killed & eaten... 2 ounces at a time.
