Somebody put their grubby mitts on my peanut butter and ate it all!!!

There is a peanut butter thief in my house!

I bought Peanut Butter & Co.'s White Chocolate Wonderful Peanut Butter (I dont even like Peanut butter!!) and its deliciously yummy. I have had some 2-3 times, maybe a tablespoon each time. I was craving it and just went to eat some and poof, its gone!!

Really, the whole container? The WHOLE container?!

I am going to schlep to the zoo of a supermarket Wegman's 20 minutes away to go get more.

Just needed to vent. Crisis averted
.

Does your family do the same??

My fiance is notorious for this. He goes after my leftovers, snacks, everything...

His favorite is my beef jerkey, and the boy can pack away some jerkey! LOL

My 22 year old brother is the WORST! I buy SARGENTO cheese sticks because they are my favorite. They are $6.99 for a 12 pack...not expensive but for only 12 sticks of cheese that's kinda pricey...He eats at LEAST 8 of them before I even eat 1...EVERY SINGLE TIME. I say something to him and I get the look from my family like I'm "protecting" my food.....well ya know what?! I eat 1 cheese stick every other day and damnit I want a GOOD QUALITY cheese. I buy my own groceries because I want good quality things and then the family eats them...if I say anything I get the "how long did I buy your groceries for our family" says my mom.....thats what moms are supposed to do!!!!! I understand your total wanting to slap the **** out of someone for eating your peanut butter...my brother got the silent treatment for 3 days over cheese. THEN...the icing on the cake?...my mom goes and buys me a 24 pack of cheese sticks....great value brand. thanks mom! I didnt eat one of them and guess what? my brother didnt either!!!!!

LOL that is totally the situation!

Arg, its like you want to buy good quality food and its more expensive but justifyable when you only eat a little...until your brother or in my case the skulls I was referring to are my poor, unassuming mother and stepfather...until they come along and grub on your gourmet snacks..

I am contemplating putting a fake plastic spider in the next jar. I suggest you booby trap your goodies also!

great idea! My brother is terrified of spiders...I mean terrified. haha! And the local reptile store in my town, they keep "sheddings" of all the spiders they have in the shop and sell them for $5...lets see how much he likes sargento with a big ass spider shell in the bag too!

I only live with a roommate, and he doesn't touch my food in the fridge or pantry, so I'm lucky. But I did want to say that I too love that peanut butter-- only eat it for a treat every couple of weeks or so, and only a tablespoon or so at a time. MMMM!

Hmmm. mystery in your house. who could it be? As a vsg maintainer I now eat about 10 times more peanut butter than i ever did. a big blob on a spoon each night is my "treat" and gets a few grams of protein. Actually have to buy the double jar big supply at costco.

In my house little elves steal things from food to papers to socks to hairbrushes. amazing where these things turn up. Once I found a pot of hot coffee in the refridgerator!

So you better launch a full investigation. can' t be having a peanut butter bandit around.   LOL  Diane

You guy's r funny my son waits for me to not touch anything in the refrirator then it's his.  recently he lost on hi s own 55lbs and changed his eating habits so he only eats the food i nnow eat so it's hard to keep healthy food in the house.  But i am so happy that is goes to gym and finishes up my left overs which is all the time now that i am NVS.  But guy's I understand bad enough we can only eat little portions and to not have what you want when you want it SUCK's, Be blessed, Stephanie....
