Is there any particular muti vitamin that is easy to swallow and easy on a new sleeve patient that anyone would recommend?

I am currently taking One A Day Vita Craves (they are the gummies) but I worry if there is enough vitamin/minerals in the gummies.

Thanks Everyone!!!

I started on a multi vitamin that has mu*****reased Vit B's, especially Biotin.  This will
help prevent hair loss.  NOTE: try and find one without calcium.  I have been keeping track
of my calcium intake and noted that a lot of the protein powders and shakes have Calcium
added.  Plus, I eat soft cheese once or twice a day.  I was taking a Calcium supplement, and
I found I was getting WAY too much calcium, which can lead to kidney stones.
I dropped the calcium supplement for now.  Down the line, once I am more into a regular
diet, I may need them again.  But for now, you will probably get enought calcium with your
shakes and powders.  Same with the other vitamins.  Count up how much iron, Vit A and Vit
C in your shakes/powders,  You may only need a good Vit B mix for now, you can overdo Vit
A as it is fat soluble, and you can get too much.  Vit C and B's are water soluble and you will
eliminate any extra vits, but Vit A and D can build up in your fat/body, as can iron. I would add up
the amounts in your shakes and powders, and go from there.

I use the Flintstone chewable.... of course you'll hear from folks who think they're no good.  My tests have always come back excellent.  I choose these because I have a hard time with some of the other brands/types being heavier in my stomach.  Even the gummies are to heavy for me.

Keep your doc posted with what you do.  Go with what works for you!  --S

I like the Bariatric Advantage multi formula.  They taste OK - let them disolve a little in your mouth and then chew them a little at a time.  Probably way more vitamin than you need, but my tests results are always good.  They're all I take - and so far no issues.  I'm almost 5 months out.

I use the Optisource vitamins. You have to take 4 a day, but they supposedly have everything you need so you don't have to buy separate b12 or iron. I might still supplement with calcium citrate once I see my numbers farther out, since it's calcium carbonate in the vitamins, but I'm not sure. Everyone they run bloodwork on that takes those is doing great in every column.
