Still lovin' my sleeve @ 14 months w/picts
I'm still totally amazed by my progress!! I never dreamed I would be "high school skinny" ever again let alone actually enjoying any form of exercise. I was one of the few that didnt exercise during my losing phase. I have never been big on exercise, to be honest I HATED it. However recently I have been trying some new things that I have never attempted to do before and am finding I actually enjoy it!! GASP!! Me like exercise?? Totally unheard of!! LOL!
I'm now walking 2-3 miles most days. When we walk there is an amphitheater and we run the stairs (another GASP!). I enjoy doing this because I never dreamed I could do it and guess what, I CAN!!
I also did a Zumba class (another GASP!) and had so much fun that I'm going to do this a couple times a week now.
Another thing I found I'm enjoying is boxing (another GASP!). Boxing, really?? YES, I LOVE boxing!! I've bought the gloves/bag and now can do this at home whenever I like, which is 2-3 mornings a week.
Holy Crap, what has gotten into me?? All I can think of is that this amazingly wonderful tool I now have has actually given me a chance to do things I have never felt I could do. I now have the I CAN do attitude instead of the I CANT. Cant do is not longer an option because I now know I CAN!!
Guess what's next?? A spin class!! This may be a 1 time only thing but I'm going to try. This is my key word: TRY. If we dont try something we will never know. I'm actually looking forward to trying the spin class!!
