And now we wait...

I've completed my 6 months of supervised diet, I've done my NUT class, my psych eval and waiting until my husband had been with the insurance for a solid year... I am finally done!

I went to my 9am appointment today with my surgeon and we had all the paperwork put together by the insurance consultant and we submitted today!!  She said it could take up to 2 weeks to get my approval back.   As soon as she hears from them, we'll set up my surgery date and move on with my journey!!

I am excited and happy to finally get this show on the road.  :)

No matter how embarrassing it may be, you should take before and after pictures of yourself if for no other reason that to see your accomplishments through hard work and determination. I did not as I never thought about it but sure wish I had.
I am 62 and male and hope to be an encouragement to all. I am 7 months 1 day out and have now lost 104 of the 114 goal I set.

I do plan on doing the pictures.... even if it kills me with embarrassment, I'm doing them!! Maybe the tripod (vs. the husband) will have to help me out the first several months though.... LOL 

I have to say I feel such a peace about this.  About a week ago I was seriously stressing out and I prayed one day that God would take this for me and work it out according to HIS will and instead of taking it back and worrying and freaking out some more like I had in the past, I actually left it with him.  Such a peace and such relaxation for the last week or so.  Loving it!!!!

I am just starting the journey but hopefully I wont have to wait as long as you do, I am waiting to hear from the bariatric office as to when I can see the surgeon. I too cant wait until I can have the surgery and get on the road to healthy living.
