I am a young 58!!! teehee  Surgery is not just for the chicks..its for the hens too!!!

Tell her to come here and talk to us!  Im getting less and less hot flashes now that I am losing weight too!  Let her know that!!

I was 52 when I had mine! I feel 20 years younger now! I didnt feel like I needed it when I was younger..thought I could do it on my own...now, a little help never hurts!
Best thing I ever did! wish I had done it sooner! I want to live out my life thinner and enjoy it! I dont want to be the "fat lady" in the hospital bed when older age brings health issues, or have a special size coffin made when I pass. The fear of paramedics not being able to lift me, or getting out of a fire because I am too fat and slow.. all of this helped me make my decision. This 50 is definitely not your grandma's 50s! life is fun now with a sleeve!

I am about 17 months out and I will turn 60 on the 16th. I feel like I turned the clock back. I feel like i am turning 40! Before surgery I felt about 80 years old and close to death! Yes, encourage her to improve her health, energy levels, mobility and self-confidence!

I was 50 when I had my VSG. Best thing I've ever done for myself. I feel 40 now. I have so much more engery. No longer have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and energy has gone through the roof.
