Odd but yummy protein food find...Not for the vegetarians..
I love, love, LOVE goat meat and miss it SO much! I sold my dairy goat herd when I headed back to school (I graduate in 4 weeks). Any bucklings that didn't sell as herdsires were castrated and raised for meat. It was a sad day when we ate that last package of goat meat out of the freezer.
I agree......if your meat tastes strong then it was either an old goat, was in with a buck or I'll add that it's possible that it was improperly butchered.
I also desperately miss the milk.......wow, I mean REALLY miss the milk.

Goat meat & cheese is delish. I would love to raise a few. We raise our own chickens. The great thing about home-raised animals is you know they were treated humanely & had a good life... and you get to enjoy all that meaty goodness.
