At getting in all of my liquids!!! I have been a slacker at getting in all of my water and have found myself waking up in the night completely parched.

I needed to confess to be held accountable... Somebody slap my hand.
I will focus on getting in more water daily as of right now.

Count me in too.  Does ice tea count?  I drink more of that than water and it is not usually decaf.  What's the deal with caffeine anyway?

Iced tea counts, but hopefully it doesnt have sugar in it. I am a tea addict too, just havent been drinking it. They say that caffeine dehydrates you so you have to drink extra to account for it. Also, it can irritate a new sleeve. But that is what "they" say, I havent done the experiments myself.

Not saying that I am right or wrong, but I drink caffeinated tea all the time.  I tried decaf tea and I hated it.. Just keep trying to get in your fluids..I keep a glass or bottle of water around me all day, but somedays I do not drink it all..I also found it easier to get something that measured it..a 32 oz water bottle and if i finish 2 im good:)..

Best of Luck, Charmaine

Well, you two, consider both hands officially slapped! . Hey, at least you are owning up - it's all part of this process we are all going thru together. Keyword there: together. Honestly, I keep water beside my bed at night just in case. I'm def getting in all of my water but I keep telling myself it's for my organs and flushing toxins, and I want healthy skin (yeah, a tad vain ). I've seen people after WLS who have such dry and gaunt skin. I don't want that!!!!

We left for errands yesterday and I forgot my water bottle. I made my husband stop at the first store we came across so that I could run in to get a bottle of water. My goal is to have something in hand at all times

I USED to drink lots of water.  These days it makes me nauseous.  I too need my hands slapped.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement, information, and hand slaps. It looks like there are a few of us who needed it!
