I have noticed in the 3 months since surgery my complexion is better meaning fewer to no breakouts and clearer skin. I wonder why this is? Has anyone else noticed their skin get clearer after WLS?

Down with ProActiv- I got a sleeve instead!

Just my humble opinion as I have not been sleeved...yet. But, you probably don't eat as much greasy food that can cause breakouts ? That is great though !!!

It might be from drinking more water which cleanses our bodies and no greasy foods.

I eat higher fat foods than most seem to here, and I have since the get go, so for me its not a less greasy thing, but perhaps less chemicals and less processed foods?

My skin has been supafine too.  *shrug* Yaay though, whatever the reason!

Yea I was thinking maybe less junk food and better, healthier whole foods. Water makes sense too. Whatever the reason, I'll take it!

Not only dont I ever have to spend money on diet gimmicks ever again, I dont have to buy a bunch of gimmicky expensive face cleansers either. Whoop!

Did you PCOS preop?  Maybe your hormone levels are more normal.  For me that was my number 1 indicator that my hormone's were wacky, I'd have awful acne.

Nope, I had the opposite, and I think it's hormonal. My skin turned into an oil slick (I took accutane 2 yrs ago and it hasn't been this greasy since before my tx!) and I have a lot more little bumps. Not a fan. :(
