I am glad to see comments like this. I am so confused. I weigh 187 and I am 5 4. BMI of 32. I just just don't know if I am ready to have part of my stomach cut away. I went to a medical weight loss clinic today still thinking I should try one more diet. 450.00 but that's not the problem. I am afraid I won't be able to go through the program let alone keep the weight off. Past behavior predicts future behavior. Will the sleeve be different? I am going crazy with indecision ....

Only you can determine what's right for you.

But, I can tell you that for me, it was exactly what I needed.  I have tried every diet known to man-kind.  In fact, some of them several times.  If I was successful at losing the weight, it came back - almost the day after I hit my "goal".

This time, it is definitely different ... I've been at goal for 2 months & I'm not gaining.  I don't feel deprived.  I even planned for a small peice of birthday cake tonight.  It was soooo good - I enjoyed it and the little peice was enough for me.  That's a miracle in itself!

If we can help you with any of your questions, just ask.  These boards are great.  You might want to also check out the Lightweights forum since with a BMI of 32 you definitely qualify as a lightweight like I was.

How's that???? ... you are a "little" obese person!

Revision from Sleeve to DS (with re-Sleeve) on 10/10/17. Slow and steady ...
