I'm doing okay with liquids, at least I'm getting at least 40 g of water in a day.  I'm 5 days out from surgery and on the clear liquid diet but I can't tolerate any protein powder so focusing on liquids, mostly water and crystal light.  I have had sugar free popsicles but want to try no sugar added fudgesicles.  For those of you who have gone before me, do you think this will be okay?  Thanks OH friends!

I ate them.  They are a bit denser than sf popsicles and depending on the day they would either sit okay or not.  They also have some calories to them, but with as little as you're getting in who cares!  I say go for it!

Thanks cattywompos!  When you say they sometimes didn't sit well do you mean you threw up or you just had gas from them?

I loved them then and still do now.  I was released on full liquids tho,  as long as its liquid it was ok for me.  They are still my favorite legal treat  lol.  You are well on your way,  congratulations,  you'll work your way up to more liquids the further out you get.  Take care   walk, sip, rest and repeat  :o) jeani

I also am on liquids with NO milk.  Therefore, did not choose them.  I am 4 days out.  How did you measure waters in grams?  ML or ounces?  Please convert, as liquids are usually measure in ML or OZ?  I'm not able to get enough liquids in, my tummy will not hold that much.  Between all of my liquid vitamins and liquid pain meds, I don't have much room.  Still sipping.  SF Popsicles sit best w/my tummy.  Are you still having the bad gas pains?

I can't tolerate protein shakes with milk, nor can I tolerate protein powder mixed in stuff (even the unflavored protein).  I'm using the plastic sippy cups (2 oz) to measure my liquids but I have to admit I'm also sipping from a water bottle (slowly).  SF Popsicles have been my friend too.  Yes, I'm having gas pains in the way of upper left shoulder pain.

I could have popsicles on clear liquids and fudgesicles on full liquids. They are high in carbs (even the sugar free ones) so I personally avoided them.
