I have a sleeve and LOVE my sleeve.
My friend has crappy insurance and is self pay. Dr Aceves did my sleeve and I am very happy. My friend says she can not afford 8750.00. Can someone suggest a competent surgeon that does it for less?

I really don't know much about him, but I believe Dr. Almanza is doing it now for 4999.00. I had lap-band with Dr. Jose Rodriguez and was very happy with him. I recently inquire about conversion to the sleeve, and they quoted me 6700.00.

People...please be careful.

Your life is worth more than a few grand, isn't it?

I mean, that's why your getting the surgery in the first place, isn't it???
To extend your life in a healthy manner?

Please do your research and find, above all else, a competent surgeon who has facilities to deal with true emergencies should one occur. If you pay $10K vs. $6K it may be well worth it in the long run. Please, just do your research and be careful.
