Dr. Almanza

Has anyone had surery with him? Any advice?

I want to know also. I just spoke with his office and am really interested in having a revision done.

If you're talking about Dr. Almanza at Jerusalem Hospital in Tijuana, I had VSG on June 18, 2010.  I felt like I was taken care of very well.  The staff is excellent, and everything is clean and comfortable.  I would highly recommend Dr. Almanza.  At this point I have lost over 60 lbs.

I have been trying to have surgery there for about the last 8 mos and i finally am going nov 17th. 

It's important that you do your research. It's a good idea to go to the Mexico board and do a search there on any surgeon you're considering. Good luck!
