It wouldn't be vitamins this early out. It would take months or even years to have a vitamin deficiency due to the stores of vitamins you have.

I'd try something like Monostat and probiotics. I'm guessing due to the antibiotics you received in the hospital that might have done you in.

I heard that lack of B-12 could be the cause. Yes I have tried over the counter stuff, but nothing works. No dryness, just insane itching!!  Thanks for the advice...

Also, this is weird sounding, but I would buy original plain yogurt and use it as a salve. Seriously. It helped a lot when I was on antibiotics. In fact, I have some ready for when I get home on the 5th just in case!

I am STRUGGLING SO BAD WITH THIS ITS DRIVING ME INSANE!!!! I went from 300 lbs down to 125 and now I am 143, the last few MONTHS I've had NONSTOP ITCHING DOWN THERE and not the kind you can easily ignore the kind that so intense and strong g your just going insane. I do t know if it's from the extra skin or what but it's maddening and I have almost constant scratches down there now from when I can't help but scratch then it burns so bad when I pee. This SUCKS and I tried itching wipes and spray and no help yet. Have you ever found a solution? Or anyone else experiencing this as well as we are?

I as well have had extreme itch in the private regions one month following my by-pass surgery. I can only find relief by washing the area following urination. The itch is so bad it keeps me from sleeping especially. I have had tests, prescriptions etc without resolve. No discharge, odor ever present, only rediness from constant itching. I have a RX cream that works but must be applied following each episode which is not always possible as I work! I have never had this symptom prior to gastric by pass and it followed one month after surgery. HELP!

I am a daily yogurt person. My physician suggested I get a bidet, apply a barrier such as Vaseline or such. Two years out from Roux en Y and itch crazy!

Do you eat yogurt?  It really helps especially if you are diabetic.  What kind of vitamins are you using?
