So this past weekend my husband, dad, stepmom and I spent the day at Silver Dollar City which is an amusement park about an hour and half drive from here. I have not even tried to ride a ride in about 20 years since I got on a roller coaster and the bar wouldn't click because I was too big. It was so embarrassing and I remember wanting to cry as I walked the walk of shame off the ride. Anyway back to present time LOL. Yesterday DH wanted to ride some rides,,,so I thought maybe,,maybeee after losing almots 60 pounds I will fit. First ride was a ride that spins in circles,,,I got on,,grabbed the seatbelt,,held my breath,,and click,,,it not only fit but had some slack in it. I felt giddy I was so happy. Second ride ,,same thing,,,third ride was a roller coaster,,It didn't have the seatbelt. It had the bar and I started having flashbacks of 20 years ago. I actually broke into a sweat from nervousness. Welllllll, we pulled the bar down and it clicked!!! I kept checking it to make sure LOL. After that I gladly hopped on ride after ride and never worried again. It was such a great feeling:)
Oh also I must add,,Silver Dollar City is in the mountains and you are walking up and down hills to get around the park. In the past I would be stopping at every bench I saw to sit and catch my breath. I got around great and actually for a change it was my stepmom who needed a rest instead of me.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!

Well, how COOL is that!?! For the first time ever, there were rides I didn't get on last summer because I was afraid of the same thing happening. Not all of them, I mean I rode quite a few, but some of them I was just too scared to try, expecially the ones where the molded seats looked really narrow. That had to be such a rush for you!!
