Hi, I am newbie and from what I seen posted, the suggestion is going back to basics of when you first started the journey.  The other posts have been the 5 day pouch to get you back on track.  You will do it, just get back to the basics.  Good luck on the journey!

Hey Sweetie,
You might want to get your fasting insulin levels checked.  There may be metabolic reasons for the weight gain.

That said, it IS possible with our sleeves to gain weight if we are eating lots of easy-to-digest foods such as simple carbs and sugars.  Also, it's really, really easy to gain weight with high calorie liquids.  No matter what, you should completely restrict drinks with calories in them.

Hang in there!  You still have your sleeve, and you CAN do this!!!

Hugs

I've heard its pretty normal to have a little regain and jeez, you had a baby. can you call the dietician at your surgeon for advice? I would go back to a protein shake or two a day with a normal low cal dinner. you must be getting exercise with the toddler! good luck D

Thanks alot for the advise!!! I am  in tears and I have done everything except go back to my surgeon and ask for the next step... the bypass which he said was possible and go back to basics.. because I am nursing the baby.  the 2 a dday protein sounds like a plan... heck
I might even start my liguid again.. "I am struggling with myself"  I have the sleeve and back to basics just emailed muy nut and asked her for the liquid.

the pregnancy and nursing had to through a huge wrench into the whole process.  You need to talk to the ped and your nut to come up with a dietary plan that will work while you are nursing.

Once you are done nursing you can start over witha  liquid diet and really restricting your cals..  Your sleeve isnt broken.  You will just need to start the plan over again.  Its just a tool in this, so you will need to work it.  It is likely you wont lose as fast, because you just had a baby.  But you will lose again if you put in the work.
