Back from hospital!!!
So isn't it wonderful when your kids give you wonderful gifts like the stomach flu??? Yes I know sharing is caring, but man....
So my little one blessed me with the stomach flu and let me tell you it hit with avengence yesturday and I though I was gonna die! Everything I put in came right back out. I called last night and Kaiser wanted me to go into the ER, but me being the nurse I am said "No, I am not wasting $50 for them to hydrate me and send me home." So I suffered all night with the worst stomach cramps and gas pains ever, not to mention the Dry heaves and diarrhea. TMI sorry.
So this morning I made it to my surgeon and my blood pressure was quite high. He told me I didn't look too dehydrated, but I told him "I know I am dehydrated and need fluids," so he agreed to 2 liters. He also said everything looked good and I was healing good.
Well then it was time to start my IV, Well being a nurse I was a bit irritated that they turned me into a pin coushin! One nurse even asked me if I wanted to try and start it myself! I was so dehydrated that they could not get any veins, until they brought in one last nurse before getting the doctor himself to do it. Well she finally got it, but she put it in the crook of my arm so I sat with my arm straight out for 3-4 hrs. And did I mention it was my right arm?? Thank god I didnt have to go to the bathroom!!! Anyway I am now home and feeling better, but man having the flu so close after surgery SUCKS!!!!!

Im not telling them but its only going to take a few months before they either think I got surgery or smoke a lot of crack.
