My PCP had Dr. Pleatman do her sleeve and was well pleased. I hear lots of good things about him.
When i calculated flights to Mexico and passports for myself and daughter, it equals about the same. (I was considering Dr. Aceves)
I certainly want an experienced surgeon as I am a revision.

I had Dr. Pleatman too, and would recommend him to anyone. I paid $11,000, only because my insurance did pay the $200 consult fee (minus my $40 co-pay). I only live 45 minutes away from his office and the hospital so accommodations weren't an issue, but I've heard a lot of good about how helpful his staff is in assisting out-of-town patients. And he gets a lot of those, because almost everyone who worked with me at the hospital asked where I was from and were all surprised to hear that I was local.

I am going next week baby! $5200 in Tijuana Mexico which is right across the border from san diego. A 15 minute drive from the airport in san diego. Another $600 paid up front to my PCP for any follow up care needed. Hasta la vista baby, I am on the way!
