A Tale Of Two Sleeves.(with pictures)
Joyce,
Thank you for your reply. I emailed her yesterday requesting my x-rays. I am having some stomach issues so I would like to see how the x-ray was 6 months ago and how my sleeve looks.
I am sort of freaking out cause in 6 months I have only lost 41 pounds. I don't exercise but now I am starting to wonder if my sleeve is a little bigger or maybe because of so many other complications I am having that my weight loss is soooo slow.
I hope she comes back and gives you something you can work with.

Hi Joyce!
As you know I had my surgery done by the same surgeon. I too am a slow loser and work really hard for my weight loss (insulin resistant). After you posted your findings a few weeks ago, I high tailed it to my PCM and had an upperGI done to rule out the possibility even though I have good restriction and little to no hunger.
I dont have pics to post but mine look like the second pic. It did intrigue me as to how this could have happen to you so I searched for other situations like yours and below is a link to one thread that I found...hope you find it useful.

There was another but I cant seem to find it at the moment but will post a link to it if/when I find it. I find it interesting that this can happen. I for one do not want to endure another surgery to correct what Dr. K called "a potential complication of VSG". In finding this it just reafirms to me that I MUSTdevelope healthy eating habits if I want long term success.
As everyone has already said.....you have done a wonderful job taking the 94lbs off... and I believe you can and will lose the rest. Be proud of you acheivement!!!
