Meat Crust Pizza Recipe
I found this one doing southbeach about 7 years ago and still use it now. we all like it very much.
Meat Crust Pizza Recipe
2 pound of extra lean ground beef
2 cups of Lf shredded mozzarella cheese (mixing)
1-2 cups of Lf shredded mozzarella (topping)
1 cup pizza sauce (e.g. Ragu pizza sauce, no sugar in it)
Canadian bacon or low fat or turkey pepperoni slices
onions, peppers, mushrooms, any veggies you like on pizza, or browned crumbled meats
Brown extra lean ground beef.
Preheat oven to 350 F. Put beef in a large bowl & mix well with 2 cups of Lf mozzarella cheese.
Spread mixture out like a pizza crust on a cookie sheet or a baking stone. ( a pizza stone makes it bake more evenly and get very crispy). Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven and proceed with remainder of instructions.
Put pizza sauce on the mixture. Top with 1-2 cups of Lf shredded mozzarella.
Top with Canadian bacon and or low fat pepperoni slices, onions and peppers.
Cook 15 min.or until top cheese starts to brown. Put foil on rack below to catch any drippings and keep your oven clean, or I put a large cookie sheet on the rack below when I start my oven to preheat.
