food stuck in stomach
And your food will not still be in your stomach 8 hours later, unless you have a significant medical problem. If you are really worried about that, report it to your doctor, and get it checked out. But most likely what you have is a stomach that is swollen and bruised, and it feels like it is full.
You are drinking almost no water, when you should be getting in as close to 64 ounces a day. The lack of water alone could easily cause your symptoms. Then to grossly overload your stomach like that with solids, well you are literally asking for trouble.
There is also no way you should be eating carrots, zucchini, etc. this soon after surgery.
Were you not provided with a diet plan? If you were, why aren't you following it? And if you were not given a dietary plan, get hold of your doctor and GET ONE. THEN, FOLLOW IT TO THE LETTER.
If you don't follow a sensible diet, then I would have to ask you, "Why did you bother to have this surgery, if you are not going to stop overeating?"
He didn't read the whole thread as to where YOUR DOCTOR told you it was OK and you weren't provided with good guidelines. Your doctor is not well educated in the procedure. Just keep reading that link I provided to you.
Don't go away.

As of 11/7/2015 I have gained all my weight plus some. I weigh 313lbs. I blame it on steroid injections I received for my back, the cymbalta i am on for fibromyalgia, I was on Lyrica for 3 months and gained 30lbs, and I found out I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis as well as Pcos. I had back surgery and had to lay flat for three months which didn't help either only to find out a year later the surgery was a failure. I now have a spinal cord injury and I am in a wheelchair! So much has happened since I last visited this site. The only thing I can do is swim. I am going to try and do this at least 2 times a week and work up to more!
