Hahaha...I think that comes from my Mom...She taught us well.  I remember one time, when my step brother was staying with us...and my mom was going through an experimental stage...and she made this discusting limejello salad ...(and I normally don't mind lime jello salad)  I don't know, weird concoction...anyhow...he made a smart ass remark about how horrible it was...and she made him stay at the table all night...He slept there and the salad was still on his plate in the morning...so I guess I get some of my spitefullness from her...not that I would do that, but I sure as hell would not be cooking for the next week or so...which means they would be on there own...and they know it...so that is why they don't complain.

I know hey...why bother, if it is going to be boring...I am all about flavor!!!

Sorry, just had to laugh. I am thinking of some of my own new cooking experiences to try to make moist food. For the most point, not bad, but there have been some iffy experiments.Oh well, My DH is understanding and just happy to eat since I couldn't care less.
