My arms....you whack a doos! LONG
Lori, I am going to meet with a trainer as soon as we quit fighting the flu inmy house! But I have a Q. When you are doing more than one set do you do all of one exercise in a row or basiclly do more than one circiut?

I repeat the same exercise for all 3 sets if I'm doing solely weights. If I'm doing a circuit- then I mix them slightly (eg 1 set lunges followed by 1 set biceps curls followed by 1 set lat arm raises, then repeat the cycle, then move to 3 others)- circuits are combined cardio and weight training but I was told to have some room for muscle recovery in between sets. If you use a different muscle group for the 3 exercises in parentheses, for example, you'll recover that muscle group but not compromise your cardio. And I went slowly- didn't start circuits til I was out many months and felt comfortable about my technique on weights and benches. Good luck, go go go! XOLori
