The stall is over!! Woo hoo!!

The scale finally moved from 275-277 down to a solid 271.  Oh joy.  I am doing the happy dance right now! 

My son came home Sat from college and dragged me to the gym.  Walked on treadmill for 20 minutes, then hit the elliptical for 35 more minutes.  THEN, did the rowing machine for 6 minutes.  Can you say "tired"?  My shoulders and neck and arms felt like lead.

Then Sunday, I joined DH on his morning constitution.  He usually runs/walk 5K every Sunday morning.  I said, I will go part of the way with you and then turn and head back home.  Well, I got to the point of no return and didn't turn back.  By then, I was in too deep,  So, I figured, might as well start jogging for 60 seconds at a time.  I jogged 4 different intervals - AND my knees do NOT hurt. Yeah!!!!!! 

By Monday morning, the scale moved. 

My son and I have issued each other a challenge for Lent.  We have pledged to work out 5 days per week during the 40 days of Lent.  I really don't want to have to face the Lord over failing this challenge.   So, I've got to get my work out on!

Glad to hear your stall is over... must be the day for them to end. I think mine might be over as well... been jumping from 248-250 and today it went to 246. Thank heavans, I know I was sick of that darn stall.

Meet the Surgeon Aug 1, 2011 .... hopefully the surgeons office is right and everything will go fast and I'll have surgery later this month.

Wowwie, I'm impressed with treadmill and then 35 minutes on the elliptical!   That's a workout!!

Today is Fat Tuesday.  They should be settling down in New Orleans!-- and Carnivals being celebrated all over. 

Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent.  Lent will actually go on for about 46 days because we don't count Sundays.

So, you are not too late to join in.
