Have you had blood work done semi-recently to make sure you're not low on vitamins?

Good luck!

I had blood work 4 months ago. I called my primary care doctor a couple weeks ago about this and he said it was too soon again to do blood work. I no longer take high blood pressure medicine.  I just wanted to stay on the couch today.  I can't get the energy to exercise.

Aloha- Tell your doctor the standard rechecking of labs is at 3 months and 6 months- it's not too soon now to recheck. I was tired for the first 2 months but not since then- can't believe the emergy I have now. Have them check a thyroid if you haven't had one done.XOLori

Please get yourself checked out if you have been feeling this way for some time.  Some questions for you...............

What are you eating in a normal day? Are your calories too low maybe and what about protein and carbs etc?

Are you getting in plenty of water?

Vitamins?

I sometimes have blah days, where I drag myself around, but I think that has more to do with the humidity we are experiencing at the moment.

Hope you get some answers soon......... but a check and bloodwork is a must.

You might be anemic...low iron...

get your bloodwork done! Also get you some liquid chlorophyll and drink a pint a day for a week...it tastes yukky but it will build your blood up...and it is good for you in many other ways...

vitamins are key here too..along with hydration

I called my primary care physician and asked his nurse to order blood work as I am 6 months out.  I have been taking Sams brand of Centrum vitamins and added GNC iron 65 a month ago when I started feeling weak.  I did  start on new vitamin by GNC Women 50 plus.  I may not be eating enough because yesterday I added more food throughout the day yesterday, my protein I used whey powder with 12 oz milk, strawberries and 1/2 banana  and feel much better today.  A couple of days of menus for me would be:

Breakfast oatmeal w/nuts

Lunch:  a couple slices of lunchmeat, and a slice of cheese.

Dinner:  1/4 chicken breast, 1/4 c. salad (if I can get it down)

Protein shot throughout the day.

Breakfast:  oatmeal w/pecans

Lunch:  1/2 c pinto beans with slice of cheese

Dinner:  1/2 c fish and asparagus

Protein shot throughout the day.

Should I start o the chlorophyll now or wait to give blood for blood test?  I really appreciate everyone's help.  The scale hasn't moved for me in 8 weeks.  My surgeon said I have 9 lbs to go, shooting for BMI of 25 am 27 now.  I haven't been able to really exercise because I've been so tired. I went to the gym a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to drag myself back. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
