Accountability Challenge!
Maybe you have the same issues, or maybe different. Maybe you want to join me for a dose of daily message board accountability? I would love to know there were people out there that will check in daily and yell at me when I don't do what I need to (and I am willing to do the same for you!) Who wants to join my accountability challenge? If you do, post your top 3 things you want to do better. Here are mine.
Issue #1: Vitamins
My daily multi makes me nauseous, so I end up not taking any. I take my Prilosec and thats it.
I need to get back to taking them every day.
Issue #2: Exercise
I am a full time student, I work 25hrs per week in an incredibly busy pharmacy, and I have a 10hr/week internship. I just don't have the energy, or the drive. My goal is to exercise every day that I do not work, so 4 days/week.
Issue #3: Food Journaling
I am starting to think that I indulge too much, or possibly graze a little (especially when I am at school). I have never really been a food journal-er, but I am going to start, at least every day this week so that I can know what I am eating, and figure out a plan from there.
I will check in daily with these issues, feel free to join me as I challenge myself to get back into good habits!
Have you considered using a chewable vitamin like flintstones?
I'm not up to joining your challenge right now, because if I start losing more weight, I face insurance issues. But I'll check in and cheer you on.
I used to do chewables, but the crazy flavor made me sick. I am going to switch to gummy when I run out of these (if I can stand it - I am so cheap). I found some cool looking gummy multi-vits and gummy calcium at Target, so I will be checking those out next.
I appreciate the support.

I will definitely be following your challenge and admire your resolve for healthy changes in your already hectic demanding life.
I am not taking it with food. I know it would help with nausea, but when I take all of the damn vitamins (I'm sorry, I have to take them all at the same time otherwise I will forget) together, my stomach is full, and eating isn't that appealing. I am going to switch to taking them at night, I am not a morning eater anyways, and I think this might have something to do with it. I think I will just take them with my protein coffee, which I have every night.
Thats the thing - I guess I just don't feel like I am vitamin-deficient. I know you don't wake up and think 'hmmm.. my vitamin A levels are a little low', but I feel fine, so I'm just like 'whatever, they suck to take anyways'. If anyone has any stories of terrible things happening to people who don't take their vits, let me know!
Thanks for the support!
I also need to figure out how to deal with hunger that's really thirst. I know sometimes when I think I'm hungry, a drink will satisfy most of it. But if I try that, it means that I'll have to wait more before eating.
Better I adjust now, though.
