Ok, from what I'm getting from the post in other rooms has just confused me.
What is the difference between the VGB, stomach stapling and Lapband aren't they the same thing? What is the weight loss ratio for each if anyone knows.
I had my mind set on the sleeve, but now I'm learning that tricare won't cover it. But RNY, VGB and Lap are covered.
I'm just looking for the best for me.

Dr. Elainry is no longer with his practice. He sold it to another company. I was using them but because of this they fell out of my in-network option. They totally tried to fool me also so I dropped them.

Just saw my surgeon again and they have everything they need and are sending all my paperwork over to the insurance company for approval! I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!! Just wanted to share with everyone!!!

Well, All I can tell you that this is so normal.
Sometimes the band lets you eat and on other days it is just too tight for anything to pass.. completely normal! dont worry.
About the weight loss/gain ur body might be just adapting to ur new life style change... beware and I dont mean to put u down that the band weightloss is so slow and u need to work on it too! so I will add more excercise to ur day and may be star****ching my food intake.
What kind of food can u eat without any problem? if it is food that can slide easily like puree or pastas.. etc etc.. then thats the deal with them and u should really avoid them.

Congrats! I too was approved recently and I'm scheduled for April 12 Im sooo nervous as well more so because I don't know what to expect from it all no matter how much I research or read or listen to others but I guess that's normal...I been thinking a lot about what I will not be able to eat anymore is that a worry of you? I think that's my biggest problem lol
