Question about pregnancy????

I had the Silastic Ring Vertical Gastroplasty which I was told was very simialar to VBG. My question is can we become pregnant later down the road. I just assumed I would be able to. My appt for the Dr isn't for about another week so I thought maybe someone would know or have became pregnant. The reason I am asking is someone told me the other day that I would not be able to! I have the sleeve gastrectomy I have never heard of any wls making someone sterile if anything the decreased weight and lessening of wear and tear on your reproductive system may increase your ability to get pregnant that is why doctors warn us to be more careful and not get pregnant the first year go on the wls pregnany forum and ask questions I am sure that you will find some answers.
